When it comes to your venue's capabilities of what it can offer touring musicians, artists, and any other type of entertainment, creating an immersive experience allows for not only the vision of the artist to come alive, but for those in attendance to feel fully enraptured by the space, creating a lasting impression. Here at Agility, one of our main focuses is designing and building an immersive experience for any type of venue.
What is an immersive experience?
The gist of it is that they can be digitally mediated environments that are designed to engage users. It can be a combination of artificially created art pieces with digital products to create a world that doesn't exist outside of the environment people came for. There's a variety of ways that you can produce an immersive experience, but one two of the ways we'll talk about today are with lights and led screens.
The options are endless with LED screens. We recently created a circular structure where when you walk into the room, you are completely surrounded by LED screens portraying whatever image you decide on. Many modern churches are also choosing to use this type of display as the entire backdrop or with smaller screens. In these instances, it allows the church to display lyrics to the hymns they sing and the scriptures that the pastor is speaking on. When the entire background is made up of an LED screen, it allows those with eyesight issues to be able to clearly see what is being written.
The most popular methods of lighting include up lighting, down lighting, and front lighting. If you've ever been to a movie theater, then you've likely seen the lights on the ground that light up the walking path. It's little details like this that, when taken into account during the design process, make any entertainment experience all the more thrilling.
